Mr. Michael Manisa is a registered land surveyor with vast experience in areas of Geographical Information Systems, cadastral and engineering surveys. He holds an MSc. Degree in GIS from University of London and a B.Sc. (Hons) Degree in Surveying and Mapping Sciences from University of East London. His professional career started at the Department of Surveys and Mapping where he worked as an assistant land surveyor for two years. 

His job involved collection of survey field data and placing of property boundaries. He then joined the University of Botswana as a lecturer. He is the founding managing director of MNO Surveying Consultants (PTY) LTD. He was the project coordinator and chief surveyor in a cadastral survey project of industrial plots at Shoshong. He was the project coordinator of a consortium which was engaged by the Department of Lands for TLIMS Data Collection and Conversion project.
